About Bloggers Day of Action

The Bloggers Day of Action was started on January 14, 2010, when a group of 15 bloggers came together to address the devastation following the earthquake in Haiti.  Within weeks, the day of action grew into a small movement, with over 50 blogs dedicated to helping with relief efforts.  Today, we are bloggers from around the world committed to a Bloggers Day of Action - one day, one act, one post that can truly make a difference.  Today we are using our blogs to raise awareness and to identify ways to help those in need. We started with just fifteen blogs, but know that there are many more who can take a step in this effort to help. Join us as we work to make a difference.
